LDM stands for Local Dynamic Micromassage. The device emits therapeutic ultrasound that oscillates rapidly between two or three frequencies — 1 MHz, 3 MHz and 10 MHz — switching hundreds of times per second.
Dynamic Micromassage
Conventional ultrasound delivers one fixed frequency. LDM alternates between frequencies at high speed, which creates dynamic pressure gradients inside the skin. This rapid switching is what Wellcomet describes as a “micromassage” at the cellular level.
Depth-Matched Work
Each frequency reaches a different depth. 10 MHz works at the surface — barrier, hydration. 3 MHz works mid-dermis, where collagen and elastin live. 1 MHz reaches deeper connective tissue. One session covers all three.

Is LDM Noblesse safe, and who is it for?
LDM Noblesse is a therapeutic ultrasound device, manufactured in Germany by Wellcomet GmbH. Therapeutic ultrasound is a well-established category in Australian clinics. It’s generally suitable for adults looking for considered support for sensitive skin, hydration or post-procedure recovery. It is not suitable for anyone with a pacemaker or implanted electronic device. It is also not recommended during pregnancy or breastfeeding (over treatment areas), for anyone with an active malignancy or known thrombosis, or over an active skin infection. Recent aggressive resurfacing is also a reason to wait — your clinician confirms timing at consultation.
Does it hurt? Is there any downtime?
LDM Noblesse is non-invasive. A water-based coupling gel is applied, and the handpiece is moved slowly over the treatment area. Most clients describe the sensation as warm and comfortable. Minimal downtime is expected — most people return to normal activities, makeup and skincare the same day. Mild, short-lived redness is possible but uncommon.
How many sessions will I need?
For general skin-quality support, a short course over several weeks is typical, followed by maintenance. For post-procedure recovery, one to a few sessions in the days after the procedure are a common pattern. For sensitive or reactive skin, sessions spaced closer together are sometimes used. Your clinician will suggest a schedule based on your skin and your goals.
How does LDM compare to HydraFacial or microneedling?
LDM Noblesse is a different category. HydraFacial focuses on cleansing, exfoliating and hydrating at the surface. Microneedling (including RF microneedling) creates controlled micro-channels to drive collagen remodelling, with real downtime. LDM uses sound waves — no needles, no abrasion — and is designed to support recovery and calm. Many clients use LDM alongside those treatments rather than instead of them.
Can I combine it with other treatments?
Yes — this is one of LDM Noblesse’s common uses. It pairs naturally as a recovery session a few days after Rejuran, Morpheus 8, MONO threads, or a peel. It can also sit alongside HydraFacial or a skin booster as part of a longer-term skin plan. Your clinician will map the right sequence in your consultation.
Who performs the treatment?
LDM Noblesse is performed by our Registered Nurses at our Sunnybank clinic. Your clinician will go through your consent, contraindications and aftercare at your consultation.
Is it available at Toowong?
LDM Noblesse is available at our Sunnybank clinic only. If you’re based closer to Toowong, your consultation can confirm whether LDM is the right fit, or whether one of our Toowong options — HydraFacial, Skin Needling, PRP or Exosome — better suits your goals.
